Welcome to unique fine dining in Cambridge Colleges
Imagine dining in a historic room at one of the Cambridge Colleges, elegantly set, candle-lit tables, enjoying wines from historic wine collections and sampling gourmet food in areas normally off limits to the public.
Welcome to the College Supper Club presented by the Cambridge Food Tour. Any member of the public can dine in truly unique and historic rooms within the famous colleges. This is an experience not to be missed for locals, foodies, tourists and lone travellers to one of the oldest university towns in the UK.
About the colleges
The historic colleges have a rich food history and an impressive collection of wine. They have some of the best chefs working for them, who on their turn compete every year in a Cambridge Culinary Competition in eight individual food classes. Last year’s winner was Clare College. The Cambridge Food Tour is very pleased to be able to offer you a fine dining experience at a secret location in a Cambridge College the last Saturday of every month
What to expect
Beyond the college gates you will pass through the courtyards and corridors of some of the oldest seats of learning in the world. You will be served with a complimentary arrival drink, in one of the splendid college reception rooms, and here you will mingle with fellow ‘club members’.
When the dinner gong sounds your host will conduct the club members.
A delightful experience
College suppers are a wonderful occasion for meeting friends, entertaining guests and or just sharing an unforgettable evening.
